PERCEPTIONS OF CONSCIENCE OF NURSING STUDENTS ACCORDING TO EMPATHY LEVELS

Conscience and empathy are emotional factors affecting caregiving levels of nurses. Aim this research is determining perceptions conscience nursing students, according to their levels. Descriptive, cross-sectional correlational designs used in conducted on students third fourth grades studying at departments two State Universities the east Türkiye. 376 mentioned universities, formed population research. The study has been completed with 286 accepting participate research, without forming a sample group. Data have gathered through Student Identification Sheet, Empathy Quotient (EQ) Perception Questionnaire (PCQ). determined that, average age was 22.43 ±1.96, 61.1% were female, 94.7% single, 65.3% living cities, 50.6 %were attending university, 60.4% freely chose profession 42.8% made choices because family pressure.
